Part 1: Recreate a favorite memory in a gift form

My memory: When I first moved to the US, I felt lost. However, when I first visited New York, I felt like I really belonged there and was truly happy.
I created magnets using clear glass gemstone beads attaching my own design that captures my favorite things in New York: liveliness. As the packaging, I created a colorful image of New York and a little girl feeling excited to capture how I was when I was in New York

Part 2: Deck of Memories

Creating a collection of the memory
Fifty-Two 3.5" x 2.5" cards using Risograph printing
For the second part, I wanted to expand on the memories that I had at different locations since I focused on a location, New York, for the part one.
In this project, I listed 52 different memories that I've had at different locations. I've ranked them differently even 1-A scale just like a standard deck of cards. I've also utilized different suits to have different categories. Hearts: overall the best memory that I had recently; Diamonds: travel memory; Clubs: childhood memory; Spades: teenage memory
On top of 52 cards, I've created an additional "how to play" card with a QR code directing the audiences to a powerpoint on stories behind each card.
